Birth Help, LLC offers childbirth classes, doula services, and doula training. Doulas attend births in and around the Baton Rouge area , including Zachary, Hammond, Covington, Lafayette, and New Orleans . Doulas are trained through a DONA-approved training workshop and apprentice program.

Childbirth classes focus on information, techniques and comfort measures to help women give birth as "naturally" as possible. Classes are available in groups or private sessions. Doulas offer assistance, support, and encouragement for the mother's birth choices and greatly increase the opportunity to reach birth goals of avoiding/delaying medication or routine medical interventions.

I am a member of DONA. I am certifying to become a birth doula. I have only my 3 births to do to be certified. I have been serving in the postpartum doula service also. I took my Doula training with Penny Simkin. I have a bag and will travel! I am a mawmaw doula. Have breastfed my 3 children (now 29,27and 25) and had natural labors, no meds. I've been a nanny to 22 children.
