Hey Y'all!

Hubby is on board for a home birth! He does want me to stay with Dr. Clifford Shwartzenburg until I am in the 2nd trimester, which is what both midwives who do homebirths in this area recommended as well. He is willing to pay out of pocket for the homebirth as well, all assuming there are no major complications with this pregnancy.

So, once we are in the clear of the 2nd trimester I will most likely start seeing a midwife that does homebirths! My sister has agreed to being here to help, she used to work in the L&D unit at Lakeview in Mandeville...she works in the ER now. She said she could bring my niece to keep the girls entertained should they need it.

I am super excited and praying that this all goes off without a hitch!

Wonderful! I am happy that you are working towards your best birth! Congrats on getting hubby on the same page as you.
