Introduction
I'm a doula-in-training (through DONA), and also enrolled in the Lamaze program. I want to work with lower-income Opelousas women. I'm also hoping to be a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor here.
What is your interest in natural birth? (Are you interested in having a natural birth, meeting other people who have had a natural birth, working with natural birthers?) Are you looking for hospital-alternative resources?
Interested in meeting other natural, especially attachment parenting, moms, and working with women wanting a doula at their birth.
Are you expecting now? Have you already had a natural birth experience that you wish to share? Are you a birth professional looking to network?
I wish! Nursing my toddler is keeping AF away, but we're working on it! :D Yes, I did have natural with my baby Ivy. That's what got this whole interest started!

"My mother-in-law taught Lamaze in Opelousas for about 20 years, and is still a labor & delivery nurse. She taught a private class for my husband and I (though she hasn't been teaching for 4 or so years), and it was really great...."
