  •  Yes- Heather has it. :) But you are correct- a sling is a perfect idea and so much easier on your back and more enjoyable for your little one! :))

    Ginamarie (& Dane) (Feb 28, 2010 3:41 PM)
  •  It was good to meet you tonight! I'm sure we'll meet up again for crafts :)

    Amanda (Feb 22, 2010 10:14 PM)
  •  Hi Melissa, can't wait to meet you and Ness. I hope you guys can make it to a playdate soon!

    Brandi (Jan 27, 2010 1:38 PM)
  •  Hi Melissa & welcome to the group! I'm mostly going to be having meetings Monday nights, but I will try to add other days during the week when I can. Looking forward to meeting you!

    Lindsay (Jan 21, 2010 5:49 PM)
  •  Evan's a great breast milk fan, too - hopefully the congestion will be short-lived! (He's still very small, though.)

    Rachel (Jan 11, 2010 2:08 PM)
  •  Hey Melissa! I'm over on Aberdeen - maybe Ness and Evan can get together soon!

    Rachel (Jan 11, 2010 2:07 PM)
  •  It's no problem. I am bringing some things to donate to the garage sale on Friday evening, but not going to the garage sale. I'm not sure what I'm going to next. I'll see you at something I'm sure, don't worry about it, really :)

    Allison (Nov 18, 2009 3:05 PM)
  •  Hey Melissa, hope you check this before LLL. Would you bring the "Creating Your Birth Plan" book so I can borrow it? Thanks so much, and hope to see you there! :)

    Allison (Nov 18, 2009 8:58 AM)
  •  Yes, I did! Thanks a lot Melissa, I already downloaded them. Hope to see you soon again!

Marketa de Rooy (Nov 17, 2009 8:49 PM)

  •  Great! Am happy to hear that! I lived in Indonesia and traveled trough China, India, Vietnam, Central Asia..etc....and ended up in Baton Rouge ;) Anyway, will look forward to meeting you soon.

Marketa de Rooy (Oct 26, 2009 12:50 PM)
  •  Hi Mellisa, thanks for warm welcome! I am definitely in for Nov. 13. BTW, I am also a passionate traveler. Havent made it to Japan yet but hit quite a big part of Asia :)

Marketa de Rooy (Oct 26, 2009 11:47 AM)
  •  wow that's great!
I haven't tried re-using them, I had a ton from when emma was a baby because I didn't end up pumping as much as I thought I would (and from Lansinoh nursing pads, some come in the box). I'm sure you could though, just wash them well with vinegar or something. The Gerber ones seem to be the cheapest. It seems they would be cheaper though! It's just a little bag.

    Jenny (Sep 30, 2009 6:28 PM)
  •  should be there, I'll let you know ahead of time if not:)

    Jenny (Sep 29, 2009 4:51 PM)
  •  Freeze it in milk storage bags. She needs milk because she had a breast reduction before she had kids, so she cannot breastfeed, and she doesn't want to give her baby formula. She had been giving Ellie raw cows milk, but now she is severely anemic because cows milk has too much calcium and not enough iron for human babies.

    Jenny (Sep 29, 2009 11:30 AM)
  •  It hasn't made me engorged, just maybe fuller.
That isn't weird at all. If you wanted to do that, that would be great. I have been pumping every day, except today because I read that it's best not to save milk you've pumped while you have thrush (which I am still battling) so I need to clear this up first!

    Jenny (Sep 28, 2009 10:59 PM)
  •  oh he is so beautiful!!

    Amy Shamburger (Aug 08, 2009 10:40 AM)
  •  Your pictures came out so cute! Can't wait to meet the little man in person! Hope you make it to LLL on the 19th!
