Introduction

I am Emily Lynn. I have given birth to two children, first with pain meds and the second naturally. Although I don't plan on having more children, if my current career path does not work out I am interested in becoming a midwife.

What is your interest in natural birth? (Are you interested in having a natural birth, meeting other people who have had a natural birth, working with natural birthers?) Are you looking for hospital-alternative resources?

I have given birth naturally once and it was the best experience of my life so far. I would love to help others and would love to learn more!

Are you expecting now? Have you already had a natural birth experience that you wish to share? Are you a birth professional looking to network?

"I would be interested in going to the certification in Feb. Or May. Where is The Farm? I am definitely interested in going.As far as fundraising goes, i am in NE La, so I am not sure that I could make fundraising events...."

"Is there going to be certification in spring anywhere in LA? I may be interested if I could get the $ together. I am in the Monroe area and to my knowledge there are no doulas in NE LA. I think I would prefer to do this Than CNM."

"I want to go back to school to be a midwife, but I am not really sure of the course that has to be taken. I really don't want to go to out of state because I am married with children, etc. Does anyone have experience with it?..."
