"I went into on Tuesday to have my HCG levels checked. I had to change back to Dr. Shwartzenburg (which is fine with me) in order to get this done. Dr. ... MoreGriffin prescribed the progesterone, but never checked my levels or my HCG levels, even with knowing my history, and no one would call me back from her office...so I went with a doctor I know will listen to me. Ok, so on Tuesday my HCG levels were 463 and my progesterone 2450. The doc was a little concerned with the progesterone, but said it is only slightly under where he'd like to see it. So 48 hours later (yesterday) they rechecked my HCG levels and they were only 621. They did not double like they should have in 48 hours. We still aren't sure how far along I am. Going off of the 28 cycle I would be close to 7 weeks, but since the two cycles I had after Charlotte weaned herself and my periods started, they can't technically go off of a 28 day cycle. The first cycle I had was 24 days long, the second was 38 days long and then the first day of LMP was 5 Sept. So I am panicking because it could be that everything is normal, or it could be an indication that I will miscarrying. I have more bloodwork scheduled for Monday and Tuesday and an ultrasound scheduled for next Friday at 11am. I have been having sharp pains in the lower right side of my abdomen and just called the nurse and left a message. We are praying that all is ok. "Yeah, our deductible is only $300, and then they pay 90% of all costs once that is met. At Woman's with Charlotte our final bill was only $1400. I am only assuming it will be roughly that with Oschner this time. We'll see...."
