Title: Lafayette Meetup Host
This member chose not to make their Meetup membership information public.
I had a natural birth at Gentle Choices in Sept 2006. My daughter, Gabby is 3years old. Also had a homebirth with Anne Lastrapes in Dec 2008. I am a nurse and used to work in the ER at UMC and also taught childbirth classes in Lafayette and BR.
I want to support other woman interested in natural birth and working with others to make changes in our state.

"You can also do a continuous brew. You get a sun tea jar with the spout at the bottom, make the sweetened tea and add the SCOBY. You just keep adding tea as it gets depleted and it continuously brews...."
"Nicki, Well said. I agree with all of it. The points you make are one of the reasons I am not currently teaching. Its hard to watch new mothers end up with unsatisfactory births and still toe the line of professional."
"I do remember! Glad you are still involved in the birth world. :)"
"Welcome! Glad you found the group. Look forward to seeing you at the next Lafayette Meetup. Congrats on baby #2."
"I am so sorry to hear this. I have been wondering how you've been. Sandy is probably your best bet in finding out more about the docs. I wish you luck I'll pray that everything goes well. Keep us updated."
"If you are breastfeeding and tracking your temp it might be up one day and down the next. Its hard to tell. But when you ovulate your temp should rise about 1 degree and remain elevated until your period starts...."
