Introduction
I live in Lafayette and want to get more active politically and educationally. I want the next generation to have the option to birth the way they want to.
What is your interest in natural birth? (Are you interested in having a natural birth, meeting other people who have had a natural birth, working with natural birthers?) Are you looking for hospital-alternative resources?
The c-section rate in the US is truly disturbing to me. The human race wouldn't be here if birth were that unsuccesful. We must create better options for birth.
Are you expecting now? Have you already had a natural birth experience that you wish to share? Are you a birth professional looking to network?

Jennybean replied to a discussionAlcohol and breastfeeding"If I ever drank while bf'ing, I bf'd my baby right before I would have a drink. Sometimes did it WHILE I was having a drink; baby was usually finished by the time I felt the alcohol. I tried to keep drinks "light", like beer...."

"My thing is....I wish I had 3, but I wish I had them now :( I only have 2! I am so jealous (in a good way) of my friends who are already "finished" with 3. To think about starting over at 36 or 37 would be tough...for us!..."
