This Meetup repeats on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

We will meet for a potluck gathering at Hannah Birchmans house (in Baton Rouge, off drusilla between jefferson and old hammond. right near the 10/12 split). Direction will be sent to those that RSVP, the day before the event

We will have mothers coming to share thier homebirth stories and invite the midwives for a Homebirth Q & A. This will be a great opportunity to have your questions answered about what homebirth options there are here in BR, as well as what qualifications a homebirth midwife has, what are the state's regulations and laws regarding homebirth, who is a good candidate for homebirth, and what happens if there is an unforseen complication. Nursing infants are always welcome and if you need to bring older kids that should be fine as well. Please bring a simple dish to share with the group. Husbands are also welcome to attend this meeting.

Please contact the Organizers if you have a birth story you would like to share. You can read your story, show the birth video, pass around pictures, show your birth art, or use any other means of story telling.
