I have rescheduled our museum trip for the 19th of March, they had a conference and two school groups going on the 5th. Please update your RSVP!

Lets bring the kids to the museum!

There is an admission fee of $7 per adult and $6 per child, if we have a group of 15 or more going the admission will drop to $5 per person (adult or child).

I need to call ahead and make a reservation if we have 15 or more so please get your RSVP In ASAP!!

We can pack a lunch and if the weather is permiting we can picnic on or near the levee.

I agree Susannah. They had too many rules for the kids to really enjoy themselves. They got mad at Isaac for taking his shoes off to sit and play with the train station. And she really fussed at him for moving the family in the tree to the pirate ship!! After that Aralyn was scared to touch some things. My kids enjoyed it but it was not a good place for a group meeting.

My car is still not fixed, so I'm not sure I'll be able to make the drive :( I really want to do this, though. Micah loved it when we came here before. If you do it again, we'll try to make it for sure.

They had a conference and two school groups going on the 5th. I wouldn't be so worried about school groups and I would prefer to go in the morning, they close at 3pm. I just wanted to reschedule due to the conference AND school groups...the conference itself had over 200 attending.

So is there a field trip going on this date? Usually the best time to visit the museum is after Lunch b/c all the school groups are done by then.

  “ The staff was pretty rude to me more than once. I had gone with my family about a month earlier and they were very friendly, but they seemed off today. Maybe it was all those school groups. Even though they had rooms for kids to play, they seemed to get frustrated with the kids for acting like kids. I wouldn't call it kid-friendly. ”
