That was great! I like the part where the mother said she may have trusted her doc and midwife...but that they weren't there all of the time and that the doula played defense with the hospital and their policies (I am paraphrasing of course).

That's one thing that bothered me about labor. The nurse just annoyed me. She didn't help me and only came to in monitor me then quickly left. I was glad to have my wonderful husband and mother there. Mom was a back up when hubby needed a break. She delivered her three kids in a hospital unmedicated in the 70's and 80's. My dad wasn't allowed in the room and she said she was in there by herself for most of her labor. so sad, but she wanted to make sure I didn't have the same bad experience she did.

Anyway it was a great video!
