Will post more later, but our baby girl was born Sunday at 1:29 pm
Coming in at 6lbs 15 oz and 20 inches.

Some high lights from the birth:
-Water broke Sat am 1:30ish and contractions started strong immediately at about 2 minutes apart for the first 6 hours or so
-My doctor wanted/tried to postpone any intervention. Not at all pressured to stray from my birth plan. Had there not be other complications she would have allowed me to go 36 hours past my water breaking to give me the birth I wanted. Evelyn is my first, so I don't have much to speak from. But for a hospital birth I'm assuming mine was as good as they can get.
-About 6-8 hours into labor my strong contractions virtually stopped. And stayed that way for the next 30 hours or so. So much for thinking it would be a quick labor.
-Sunday 1:29 pm she was born, c-section, with the cord wrapped several times around her neck. So apparently my body knew what it was doing when it basically put the breaks on labor.
-I was able to go skin to skin right after the section- so amazing.
-Breast fed as soon as we returned to the room- she has quite a suck!
-Healthy me and health baby!

Oh my gosh! Yah!!! Shes here! Have you put a cloth diaper on her yet??? Looking at her size she probably has a teeny little bottom (shes the same size Ness was). So you bringing her next week for us all to see??? hehe.
And c-section isnt all so bad, just rest rest rest! And get your husband to serve you..hehe.

Cant wait to see yall at the play dates!
Yah for good nursing!

Wonderful news. Good to hear your body knew what to do. That's what sections are for.
Enjoy the baby.
